Meet Our Staff
Audrey Pallone-Bugeja, M.A
Founder / Executive Director
Ms. Audrey earned her Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University in Elementary Education and earned her Master’s degree from Marygrove College Detroit in Early Childhood Education. She earned her credentials from Michigan State University in Administration in a Childcare Center. Ms. Audrey founded Little Scholars Preparatory School in 2009, with a mission to provide high-quality childcare, focusing on early education. Little Scholars Downtown was licensed and opened it’s doors in April of 2010. Two years later, she opened a second location in DeWitt. Little Scholars North Campus became licensed and opened it’s doors in April of 2012. Prior to founding Little Scholars, Ms. Audrey was a 1st grade teacher for 5 years. Her teaching experience also includes kindergarten and preschool—both Montessori and traditional methods.
Lacey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Saginaw Valley State University. She began her Early Childhood career in 2014 working at a Montessori preschool. She earned her Montessori Certification through Adrian Dominican Montessori Teacher Education Institute in 2018. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has worked as an assistant, lead teacher, and director of a Montessori preschool in the Mid-Michigan area and is excited to be a part of the Little Scholars family.
